Coach XP Speed Settings Are Back — With Limits
Three new coach XP speed settings are now available in both online and offline Dynasty. Casual (1.5x XP) matches the "Faster" setting from CFB26. Simulation (1.25x XP) offers balanced progression. Career (1x XP) keeps the default pace. The "Fastest" setting does not return — EA argues that runaway progression undermines the long-term balance of the Dynasty Blueprint system by flooding the league with max-level coaches too early. League commissioners control the global setting for online dynasties.
Recruiting Fixes, Two-Part Deployment
Part one of the recruiting overhaul went live on July 16. CPU teams now compete more aggressively for four-star and five-star recruits instead of letting them vanish without offers. The update also improves late-cycle recruiting scenarios and prevents talented prospects from going unsigned. Part two arrives in a future title update and will further refine recruit generation and player progression. Changes apply retroactively — existing Dynasty saves benefit immediately.
Gameplay Stability
Defensive packages will no longer reset to defaults when the offense runs hurry-up or no-huddle. Switch Stick input delay has been identified and is targeted for a future fix. Pancake block frequency is under investigation — EA confirms pancakes are occurring at abnormally high rates even when the defense has the correct personnel on the field.
Road to Glory Fixes
EDGE players can now trigger the position battles required to advance on the depth chart. A more comprehensive fix is planned for next week. Cap Breakers failing to apply in RTG are also being tracked.
