Release Timeline
EA SPORTS College Football 27 follows a staggered release schedule designed to reward early adopters. The earliest access begins July 2, 2026 for MVP+ Membership holders with a full 7-day early access window. EA Play standard members also begin a 10-hour trial on July 2, 2026. Deluxe Edition and MVP Bundle holders gain 3-day early access starting July 6, 2026. The worldwide Standard Edition launch is July 9, 2026. EA Play Pro Edition access also begins July 6, 2026 — consult the official EA Play Pro terms for entitlement details specific to that membership.
Standard Edition ($69.99)
The Standard Edition includes the complete base game with all 134 FBS teams, authentic traditions, stadiums, and uniforms. Full access to Dynasty Mode, Road to Glory, Ultimate Team, and online head-to-head play. Pre-order bonus pack included. Available July 9, 2026 worldwide.
Deluxe Edition ($99.99)
The Deluxe Edition is the best value for dedicated CFB 27 players. In addition to everything in the Standard Edition, you get: 3-day early access (play starting July 6, 2026), 4,600 College Football Points for Ultimate Team packs, 83 OVR BND Countdown player item, 81 OVR BND Cover Athlete player item, 100 Dynasty Coach Points, and 250 RTG Skill Points. The early access window gives Deluxe players a head start on Dynasty recruiting and Ultimate Team squad building before the Standard Edition player base arrives.
MVP Bundle ($149.99)
The MVP Bundle is the ultimate package for college football and NFL fans. It includes both CFB 27 Deluxe Edition and Madden NFL 27 Deluxe Edition. MVP Bundle holders receive 3-day early access starting July 6, 2026, the same early access window as Deluxe Edition holders. Additional Ultimate Team content is included in both games. Note: MVP Bundle early access is July 6 — MVP+ Membership early access (July 2) is a separate entitlement available through the EA subscription program.
MVP+ Membership
MVP+ Membership is EA's premium subscription tier that provides the earliest access to CFB 27. MVP+ members receive 7 full days of early access starting July 2, 2026 — a full week before the Standard Edition launch. This is distinct from the MVP Bundle (which is a purchase option, not a subscription). If you are already an MVP+ member or plan to subscribe, July 2 is your play date.
EA Play and EA Play Pro Edition
EA Play ($5.99/month) provides a 10-hour early access trial starting July 2, 2026. All progress carries over to the full game upon purchase. EA Play members also receive a 10% discount on all editions. EA Play Pro Edition members receive access beginning July 6, 2026 — consult the official EA Play Pro terms for the specific entitlement and access duration for that membership tier.
Platform Availability
CFB 27 is available on: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, EA App, and Epic Games Store. The game is built exclusively for current-generation consoles and PC. PS4 and Xbox One are not supported. PC players get uncapped frame rates, ultra-wide monitor support, and enhanced graphical options.
Pre-Order and Discounts
All three editions are available for pre-order now on all platform stores. EA Play members receive a 10% discount on all editions and in-game purchases. Pre-order bonus content is delivered at launch.
