CFB 27 Dynasty Mode: Complete Guide to Recruiting, Coach Skill Trees, and the Transfer Portal

12-Season Career Span

CFB 27 Dynasty Mode gives you a full 12-season career to build your program from the ground up. This extended timeline lets you see multiple recruiting classes develop from freshmen to NFL draft picks.

Recruiting System

The recruiting system has been completely rebuilt for CFB 27. You now scout prospects over multiple in-game weeks, schedule official campus visits, navigate NIL influence factors, and compete against other programs.

Transfer Portal

The Transfer Portal introduces realistic mid-career player movement. Star players at smaller programs may transfer to bigger schools for more exposure.

Coach Skill Trees

Your coach progresses through an RPG-style skill tree with three archetypes: Recruiter, Tactician, and Motivator.

Dynasty Blueprint and Athletic Director Expectations

The Dynasty Blueprint system adds a program identity layer that connects expectations, school identity, staff building, NIL, facilities, recruiting, roster retention, and coach strategy into one management layer. Athletic Director goals are tied to each school and its priorities. Dynasty Points refresh during the End of Season Recap stage and do not roll over year to year. Blueprint spending touches coaching staff, facilities, Recruiting NIL, and Roster NIL. Every coach has a Blueprint Strategy that provides direction without taking control. Team Builder also returns with expanded customization, letting players replace up to 16 total teams with custom creations.

Additional Features

Team Builder returns with expanded customization. ESPN College GameDay integration adds broadcast-quality presentation.
