The Ratings Database Is Live
EA's College Football 27 player ratings database is now live, giving players a searchable view of 9,013 athletes across all 134 FBS programs. The official ratings page includes filters for team, conference, and position, letting you compare players across the entire database or drill down into a specific program. The database is the authoritative source for all player ratings — any pre-release projections, fan estimates, or social media speculation should now be replaced with official EA data.
The Headliner: Jeremiah Smith at 99 OVR
Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith is the highest-rated player in the launch database at 99 overall. His official player page lists elite ratings across speed, catching, route running, and jumping — the complete package for a wide receiver who is genuinely one of the best players in college football. Smith's 99 OVR makes him the most valuable player card in College Football Ultimate Team and an immediate recruiting priority target for any Dynasty program with a passing-focused identity. The combination of Smith at 99 OVR and Ohio State's 92-rated offense makes the Buckeyes the most lethal passing program in the game.
Quarterback Ratings at a Glance
Dante Moore leads all quarterbacks at 95 overall, followed by Julian Sayin at 94 and Trinidad Chambliss at 93. CJ Carr and Jayden Maiava both sit at 92, while Arch Manning is listed at 91. The quarterback distribution creates a clear competitive tier for programs: Oregon, Ohio State, and Ole Miss each feature a quarterback in the top three, giving those programs an immediate passing game advantage in any game mode.
How to Use the Ratings Database
The EA ratings page at ea.com/games/ea-sports-college-football/ratings supports several useful filter combinations. Filter by conference to see the depth of talent in specific conferences for Dynasty recruiting research. Filter by position to identify the best options at each spot in the lineup for Ultimate Team squad building. Filter by team to get a full picture of any program's roster depth before starting a Dynasty save. The database is updated following official roster updates, so bookmark it and check back after any mid-season roster update.
