College Football 27 offers three editions, each with different price points, bonuses, and early access windows. Choosing the right edition depends entirely on how early you want to play, how much Ultimate Team content matters to you, and whether you also plan to purchase Madden NFL 27. Standard Edition — $69.99
The Standard Edition includes the full base game with all 134 FBS teams, authentic traditions, stadium atmospheres, and uniforms. Full access to Dynasty Mode, Road to Glory, Ultimate Team, and online head-to-head play is included. The Standard Edition launches July 9, 2026 worldwide on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A pre-order bonus pack with additional Ultimate Team content is available when purchased before launch. This is the best choice for casual players who do not need early access or Ultimate Team bonuses.
Deluxe Edition — $99.99
The Deluxe Edition includes everything in Standard plus 4,600 College Football Points, 3-day early access starting July 6, exclusive player items (83 OVR BND Countdown and 81 OVR BND Cover Athlete), 100 Dynasty Coach Points, and 250 RTG Skill Points. The early access window gives Deluxe players a significant head start on Dynasty recruiting and Ultimate Team squad building before the Standard Edition player base arrives on July 9. For dedicated players, the $30 premium over Standard is justified by the CFP value alone — 4,600 points purchased separately would cost roughly $40.
MVP Bundle — $149.99
The MVP Bundle includes both CFB 27 Deluxe Edition and Madden NFL 27 Deluxe Edition in one purchase. MVP Bundle holders receive 3-day early access starting July 6, 2026 — the same early access window as Deluxe Edition buyers. This bundle is ideal for dual-sport fans who play both college and NFL games. Note: MVP Bundle is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Do not confuse the MVP Bundle ($149.99 purchase, July 6 early access) with MVP+ Membership (subscription, July 2 early access). These are separate entitlements.
MVP+ Membership
MVP+ Membership is EA's premium subscription tier that provides the earliest access to CFB 27. MVP+ members receive 7 full days of early access starting July 2, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET — a full week before the Standard Edition launch. This is distinct from the MVP Bundle purchase option. If you are already an MVP+ member or plan to subscribe for the launch period, July 2 is your play date.
Which Should You Buy?
Our recommendation: casual players who do not care about early access should choose Standard Edition. Ultimate Team players who want the best value should choose Deluxe Edition — the 4,600 CFP alone recovers the $30 premium. Hardcore fans who also play Madden NFL 27 should choose the MVP Bundle.
